About me

I am Amanda Ye

some people like to call me Qian which is my original Chinese name, the pronounce is more like Chen, but the spelling is QIAN, however, please choose the easy way to call me and I will smile when you can pronounce correctly.

I was born and grew up in Shanghai China, and lived over 8 years in Japan and graduated Economic Politics Master degree in Tokyo, and then lived in Oslo Norway for 3 years, and then lived in Abingdon UK for 6 years, and then lived in Stavanger Norway for another 3.5 years, and then lived in Hannover Germany for 3 years, and then I moved to the UK again in 2018 and then found my love and moved to a lovely little town called North Leigh

I started yoga years ago, but I never really into it, always busy for the kids, family, travel, and work, until I started Ashtanga Yoga and clicked to it, and started to regular practice, and I feel so lucky and happy that I have this opportunity to learn and benefit from it. I would love to share my practice with more people who is interested in Ashtanga Yoga.

After a few years of dedicated yoga practice, I was fortunate to deepen my journey by studying sound healing. I received professional training through the Sound Healing Academy in London, where I gained a solid foundation in this powerful modality.

Additionally, I had the unique opportunity to study under Master Shree, a renowned expert in Tibetan singing bowls, during a special training program in China. I also undertook specialized training focused on using sound healing to support individuals living with cancer, further enriching my understanding and approach to this therapeutic practice.

I have qualified 300 Hours yoga teacher training.
